Under the responsibility of Carole Guillonneau, Ignacio Anegon and SéverineBézie of team 2 of the Center for Translational Research in Transplantation and Immunology INSERM 1064 in Nantes, the post-doctoral fellow will be in charge of in silico transcriptomic and proteomic characterization activities of cells regulators and improvement of their suppressive potential (by refining the method of isolation, genetic modification or targeted biochemical action) with a view to their use in cell therapy.

Main activities

Activity 1:

- Conduct, by adapting the experimental conditions, a set of techniques (transcriptomics (CITEseq), proteomics (flow cytometry), T cell culture, modification of expression of genes (CRISPR/Cas, lentivirus), proof of in vitro mechanisms in tests of co-culture)

- Bioinformatics analyzes of datasets generated by CITEsequencing or cytometry spectral for its UMR 1064 A postdoctoral researcher in Health

- Exploit and present the results of the analyses, guarantee their follow-up and quality, write experience or study reports, technical notes

Activity 2 :

- Be responsible for the proper functioning of the laboratory: purchase, supply, ensure the application of health and safety principles and rules, participate constructively in lab meetings and lab life in general

- Participate in the writing of publications, technical and scientific presentations, attend scientific congresses

Offer Requirements Skills/Qualifications

General, theoretical or disciplinary knowledge:

- Applied IT (Seurat R package, scRepertoire package)

- Cell Biology and Immunology (in-depth knowledge)

- Health and safety regulations

- Written and oral English language

Operational skills:

- Design experimental devices

- Write scientific papers

- Implement biology techniques (library generation for sequencing (Chromium Next GEM), autonomy in multi-color flow cytometry, cell sorting, culture cell, proliferation test)

- Use activity-specific software (Seurat R package, scRepertoire package, Software Flowjo, GraphPad prism

know-how :

- Ability to analyze and interpret data

- Rigor, writing and synthesis ability, communication with all types of interlocutors (technical or not)

- Motivation for research

Specific Requirements

A PhD in immunology and bioinformatic skills.
