Postdoctoral Scholar - Cancer Research Center

The Makowski lab is looking for an exceptional postdoctoral fellow to join our lab with a rich history of mentoring, multiple F-funded trainees, and multiple NIH (U01 and R01s) currently. Postdoctoral fellow must be an expert in tumor immunology, immunotherapy, and murine models of cancer for an NIH-funded project using murine models to study the immune system, microbiome, and breast cancer. Expertise in FlowJo (or similar) and bioinformatics is essential (using the R programming language for genomic/transcriptomic analyses) as well as cancer cell biology (Crispr, etc). The ideal candidate must have multiple first author publications with evidence of presentations at national conferences. To be successful, the candidate must be an excellent speaker and writer, be willing to write F32 NIH fellowship, and contribute to other collaborative projects in the lab.

Qualifications

PhD in immunology.PhD in molecular biology preferred

Must have multiple first author contribution to publications in scientific journals, abstracts, and presentations at international meetings.
