YOUR TASKS

Designing specific granular fuzzy rough set models, and performing theoretical analysis of their properties

Setting up large-scale experimental studies with benchmark data to evaluate these models;

Guiding PhD students, and working together with senior researchers, involved in the Odysseus project “Fuzzy sets and rough sets for machine learning, sentiment analysis and web intelligence”

Reporting and presenting your research in top-tier international journals and conferences;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You hold a thesis-based doctorate in computer science.

You have thorough experience of recent developments on granular approximations and fuzzy rough sets

You are skilled at setting up experiments

You possess good interpersonal and team-playing skills

You are proficient in English

You have published in top scientific journals in the computer science domain

You have excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, …).

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 3 months.

Your contract will start on 1/11/2022 at the earliest.

Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate). Click here for more information about our salary scales.
