Two NIH-supported postdoctoral fellow positions are available to study DNA damage-induced hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) injury (including genetic instability, apoptosis and senescence) and leukemia transformation (to leukemia stem cells) at the Dept. of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. We are looking for a highly motivated and well trained scientist in experimental hematology, HSC and cancer research, and molecular biology who wants to grow as an independent investigator, because this is an excellent opportunity for career development to a research faculty, e.g. Research Assistant Professor.
The individuals are expected to work independently and contribute to the intellectual environment of the research project. We offer a competitive compensation package.
