Sabanci University is a new private university located in Istanbul, Turkey, an EU candidate country. Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Program invites applications for post-doctoral positions in bioinformatics. The successful candidates will work on an ambitious, internationally competitive and dynamic research project funded by the State Planing Agency. Ph.D degree in Bioinformatics or in Computer Science or in Biochemistry is required. Previous hands on experience in protein expression,purification and modification is a plus. Ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal skills are expected. Our lab is mainly concentrated on developing computational tools with a specific focus on protein engineering. We are also interested in interdisicplinary projects combining computational and experimental skills developed in the lab. Competitive salary and excellent benefits are available.
